As an Izzy/Koushiro fan, I'm thrilled.Įnglish myanmar dictionary software, free download. ![]() And this is the part where Menoa goes from bubbly to demented in about five seconds. And if you think about the candle of life scene, I love it even more because Izzy knows he's about to have his consciousness eaten/absorbed, but he works to extend Tai and Matt's ability to rescue everyone anyway as a last effort. It’s hard even when you’re looking at it. I had one of those, where you have to push each button so many times for a specific letter or number. There's definitely a hint of fear in his voice when he tells her that he figured out she was behind Eosmon's creation, but he manages to text Tai the Digital World coordinates through a freaking burner phone. Izzy's out here saving everyone's asses over and over and over and over in this show. As I mentioned above, the scene where he confronts Menoa is superb, and I was anxiously awaiting to see if the dub would do it justice. Let me talk about my favorite dude in the whole world, Izzy Izumi, and his badassery. The ugly sobbing made my own throat grow thick. The show is telling us that we too, have grown older, but the show will always exist, we'll always be together. We can go back and watch the same episodes we did as children because they're suspended in time. Granted that the characters have grown too, but they're suspended eternally in media. Because when you think about it, we, the fanbase, have steadily grown older since Digimon first premiered. The "You've sure gotten big Tai" and "You never change" lines (#2 in my list of favorite scenes) just punched me. And since it was my childhood version, it hit me harder. I said it before, but this movie is about us saying goodbye as much as it is for Tai and Matt saying goodbye. The ending is virtually the same as the sub, but I cried because as I watched Tai talk to Agumon for the last time, knowing full well what was going to happen, two original VA's that I heard talk to each other back when I was 7 years old, watching Digimon Adventure on Saturday mornings, I lost it. It's one of those things that stick with you, and I was immediately like "nah, that's not him." But Stingmon saying "Spiking Strike" in the same 02 voice was like cherry on an ice cream sundae. I mean, in 02, Armadillomon has a southern accent for one. with their same, bubbly voices but alarming to hear very different ones for Armadillomon and Hawkmon. And really, it's the Digimon voices that I kept getting stuck on because we all know that the "Digimon never change." On the one hand, it was calming to hear Agumon, Tentomon, Palmon, Gomamon, Patamon, Wormmon, etc. ![]() Thank you for coming back to us, Derek Stephen Prince, who also gave us Veemon's cute, raspy voice once again. Davis is Davis, a big, goofy man-child with a heart of gold. I will say that he brought the same kind of energy that 02 Davis had, and that was refreshing. If you watched the English dub of 02, you know that Davis had a very pronounced voice, and it was jarring not to hear the same tones with him. ![]() Davis' VA did what I believe to be as good of a job as he possibly could. Cody was fine, I guess? He didn't have enough lines for me to really judge the voice, but it was believable, the same, thoughtful Cody. Yolei's VA was awesome - loud, charming, and blunt, just like I remember her being in 02 just with a more grown up voice.
